Washington Pole Barn Kits
Pre-engineered pole barn kits shipped statewide across Washington — stamped plans, trusses sized to your county's snow load, and PNW-grade metal. Popular sizes, priced up front:
Starting prices reflect a 25 lb snow load. Your final price depends on size, eave height, door and window count, and your county's snow and wind load.
Engineered for Washington, Delivered to Your Site
A Columbia Structure kit is a complete pre-engineered material package: stamped plans, trusses, posts, framing lumber, metal roofing and siding, trim, doors, windows, and every fastener — delivered ready to raise. You DIY it, hand it to your contractor, or have our crew build it. We ship kits to every corner of Washington from our yard in Castle Rock.
The catch most out-of-state kit sellers miss: Washington isn't one load zone. A kit sized for the Puget lowlands can be dangerously under-built in the Cascades. Every kit we ship is engineered to the snow and wind load at your actual address — not a generic national spec.
Prefer a Fully Custom Build? One State, Many Load Zones
Where your building goes in Washington changes how it has to be engineered. That's why we size every kit to your county before it ships:
Milder ground snow — often near the 25 lb baseline. The bulk of our kits ship here, west of the Cascades.
Ground snow loads climb fast with elevation and can run well over 100 lb. Trusses and posts are upsized to match.
Wind, not snow, often drives the design here. We engineer for the wind load your exposed site actually sees.
Tell us your address or ZIP and we'll confirm the load zone before we quote — so the kit you get is right for where it's going up.
What's in the Kit
Every package is specified to your dimensions — not downgraded after the sale. A typical kit includes:
- Pre-engineered, stamped building plans
- 4/12-pitch trusses sized for your snow load
- Treated poles/posts
- No. 2 or better framing lumber
- 29-gauge roof sheet metal + full sheeting
- Synthetic roof underlayment
- Siding panels in your chosen color
- Full metal trim package (ridge, gable, drip edge, fascia, J-channel, door trim)
- All fasteners — screws, nails, bolts, anchors
- Hardware & brackets
- Garage doors, man doors, Low-E argon windows by size
Concrete, excavation, site prep, permits, and labor (outside our SW Washington build area) are planned separately — or bundled in when you use our build services.
DIY, Your Contractor, or Our Crew
Across Washington, most owners take the kit and build it themselves or hand it to a local contractor — the stamped plans make that straightforward. In our Southwest Washington build area, we also offer full turnkey construction: posts, framing, and final install by our own crew. Either way, you get the same engineered package.

Washington Pole Barn Kit FAQs
Do you deliver kits anywhere in Washington?
Yes. We ship pre-engineered kits statewide from our yard in Castle Rock. Full on-site build services are offered in our Southwest Washington build area; everywhere else, the kit is delivered ready for you or your contractor to raise.
Are the trusses strong enough for mountain snow?
They're engineered to be. The starting prices reflect a 25 lb snow load, but we size your trusses and posts to your county's actual ground snow load — which in the Cascades and higher elevations can be well over 100 lb. We confirm your load zone before we quote.
Is the price I see the price I pay?
The listed prices are starting points at a 25 lb snow load. Your final price depends on size, eave height, door and window count, and your snow and wind load. We send a real number after reviewing your specs — there's no online payment, and we confirm the quote first.
What do I still need besides the kit?
The kit is the material package with stamped plans. Concrete, site prep, permits, and labor (outside our SW Washington build area) are arranged separately — or bundled in if we build it for you.
Can you help with my county's permit?
Your kit ships with stamped engineering, which is what most WA counties require to permit. In Cowlitz County we also handle permitting for you; everywhere else, the stamped plans give you or your contractor what's needed to file with the county.
