One Company, Three Ways to Build

Whether you want to raise it yourself or hand us the whole project, we meet you where you are — a pre-engineered kit shipped to your door, a fully custom design, or a turnkey build by our own crew. Same engineered standard, three levels of help.

What You Can Build

Every path builds the same range of post-frame structures, engineered for real Pacific Northwest snow and wind:

Detached Garages

One, two, or three-bay garages with the door sizes and ceiling height a tract-home garage never offers.

Shops & Workshops

Heated or cold shops with tall eaves, big overhead doors, and clear-span floors.

Ag & Storage Buildings

Hay storage, equipment buildings, and covered storage sized to your operation.

RV & Equipment Storage

Tall-door buildings that fit a motorhome, boat, trailer, or tractor under cover.

Commercial Buildings

Durable, cost-effective post-frame for shops, warehouses, and light commercial use.

Carports & Covers

Open or enclosed covers for vehicles, equipment, and outdoor work areas.

What Comes in a Columbia Structure Kit

Whichever path you take, the material package is complete and specified to your dimensions — stamped plans, trusses sized for your snow load, treated posts, framing lumber, 29-gauge metal roofing and siding, a full trim package, doors, Low-E windows, and every fastener. Not all kits are the same: ours ships with full roof sheeting and engineering to your county's load, not a generic national spec.

How It Works

01
Design

Use the free 3D designer or tell us your size, use, and county. We help you spec the right building.

02
Quote

We review your ZIP, county, and local load requirements before sending a real number. No online payment — we confirm first.

03
Engineer & Permit

Stamped plans are produced for your site and load zone, with full permitting handled in Cowlitz County (filed by you or your contractor elsewhere).

04
Build or Deliver

DIY your kit, use your contractor, or have our crew build it in SW Washington — materials delivered ready to go.

Service FAQs

Do I have to build it myself?

No. Across Southwest Washington our crew can build it; in Cowlitz County it's fully turnkey — site prep through final install. Elsewhere in WA, OR, and ID we deliver a complete stamped kit for you or your contractor to raise.

What's the difference between a kit and a custom build?

A kit is a pre-designed, popular-size package with pricing up front. A custom build is sized and laid out to your exact spec. Both ship with stamped engineering; both can be DIY, contractor-built, or turnkey in SW Washington.

Where do you deliver kits?

Across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Full on-site build services are limited to our Southwest Washington build area.

How is a project priced?

Kits show starting prices by size; custom builds are quoted to your spec. Either way we review your county and load zone before sending a real number — there's no online payment, and we confirm the quote first.

Do you help with permits?

Every building ships with stamped engineering, which is what most counties require to permit. In Cowlitz County we handle permitting for you; elsewhere in SW Washington, WA, OR, and ID, you or your contractor file the stamped plans with your county.
